    Our Client, an emergent Swiss Pharmaceutical Start-Up Company specialized in developing high quality generics, super-generics, and repurposed products in the field of Rare Metabolic Diseases, is looking for a SALES DIRECTOR EUROPE Reporting to the CEO, he/she will be in charge of creating and building the European Sales Team, with the aim of introducing, promoting and selling the company’s products in the European market. Responsibilities:  lead and manage the European sales team: recruitment, training, coaching and controlling; develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets, being also responsible for the market access strategy in each country; work with the CBDO and COO on forecasts to ensure a correct supply and to avoid shortage, meeting sales financial objectives; together with the CBDO, develop annual pricing plan and quarterly sales plan for each country; ensure salesforce effectiveness and periodically monitor its performance accompanying the sales representatives directly on the field; make recommendations to help the company improve its product and service offering; together with the CBDO and Medical Affairs organize group events and conferences for KOLs, patient organizations and relevant hospitals, maintaining with them strong and long-lasting relationships. Basic qualifications: Previous sales experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry is a MUST. university degree, ideally in the life-science sector; minimum 5-8 years of solid experience managing a Sales Representatives team; rare disease / orphan drugs sales experience would be a strong asset; deep knowledge of the main healthcare systems in Europe, including reimbursement mechanisms; fluent English; Italian is a big plus and German, Spanish, Dutch would be nice-to-have; availability to travel frequently across Europe.
