    Leading boutique asset management company Duties and Responsibilities: As regards the compliance function, the position will be responsible for:Drafting and keeping up-to-date internal policies and procedures; Developing the compliance plan; Performing compliance checks; Monitoring the legal framework and advising the business with a proactive approach; Carrying out compliance risk assessments and gap analysis; Ensuring compliance with legal and industry regulations; Supporting the management in ensuring and implementing compliance in the company's business. As regards the legal function, the position will be responsible for:Being in charge of drafting, negotiating and amending agreements with third parties (for example custodian banks, advisors, investment managers and other service providers); Liaising with external law firms. Skills Required: No less than 5 years' experience, ideally within a compliance or legal department in the finance/banking industry or in a law firm. The ideal candidate is:Proactive and able to work independently as well as in team; Goal-oriented; Able to work under pressure; Able to be involved in cross-border tasks; Italian: mother tongue; English: B2 or higher; any other language will be considered an asset. Education Requirements:College degree in Law or Political Sciences; specialization in finance is a plus; Trained in how to deliver presentations and public speaking.
