    TenCate Geosynthetics is the global market leader in geosynthetics, it offers high quality products and provides technical solutions in the field of civil and environmental engineering. TenCate nonwovens, wovens, geogrids and geocomposites are engineered with advanced application knowledge to meet project specifications for transportation construction, mechanically stabilized earth, erosion control, water and waste management, and shoreline protection/marine structure construction. The candidate, reporting to the Managing Director of the Italian entity, will have the following responsibilities: Develop new market opportunities and execute a clear sales plan to ensure sustainable growth for area of responsibility (Italy). Prepare sales/engineering reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales information, engineering and application trends. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.Well thought out travel plans that produce strong, personal working relationships with both existing and new customers. Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction. Support and enlarge the existing designer and consultant network with technical suggestions and specifications Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback. Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities. Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions. The ideal candidate will have several years of sales experience in geosynthetics, will have a good knowledge of the civil and environmental construction market, ideally dealing with Italian national customers. He has a strong technical background, fluent English, good communication skills and willingness to travel.
