    Worldwide company producer of cutting systems both laser, plasma and water based, present in more than 30 countries worldwide with both sales and after sales subsidiaries. The Service manager reporting locally to the Italian MD e functionally to the European Aftersales Director, will be responsible of the following activities: Manage Field servive technicians in their region, schedule their assignments and support other associates and independent service providers with relevant training and documentation; Oversee the activities of their technical service region and ensure the technician's response promptly to customer's requests; Be the point of contact for customers and service technicians with local service issues; Provide initial support (local 1st level help desk), either send technician, or liaise with 2nd level support; Work closely with European Service Management to exchange, share and distribute field issues and solutions across the European Technical Service departments. Turn service calls into revenue opportunities; sell service contracts and other aftermarket products; get involved in active promotion of spare parts (along with local colleague for spare parts sales based in Italian office; Examine and approve time sheets, service records and material requisitions to ensure budget goals are met. Assure that service records and time sheets are sent on a weekly basis. Review and pre-approve all invoices from the HQ to the Italian customers. Monitor installations progress whilst constantly reviewing that installs remain on course for completion in the allotted timeframe. Ensure all acceptance reports, familiarisation checklists and health & safety documents are obtained and signed for every installation. Prepare quotes for service at customers' request. The ideal Aftersales manager has 5/7 years experience as field service technician on cutting machines and is willing to growth to a more managerial role. Has strong mechanical, pneumatic and electrical skills a comprehensive knowledge of several cutting machines and has a strong customer orientation and result oriented approach. mandatory is fluency in English and availability to international travels.
